| Police Issue Warning - Close Your Garage Doors!
With spring around the corner, police are urging you to close your garage door. Police say usually in the spring and summer months, they get ten to twenty garage burglary cases a month. And, most of the time, the thieves are kids.
They go into neighborhoods all over Tulsa. An open garage door is like a gold mine to them. Police say they always see a big increase garage break in's around this time of year, right when the weather gets warmer. They say the thieves drive around neighborhoods, looking to see who left their garage door open. Then, they quickly go in, steal what they can get and take off.
We spoke to one victim who had her purse stolen right out of her car, which was parked in her garage. She says she never thought it would happen to her.

Owners of historic home object to judge's order
McKeon could not be reached for comment. Mr. Furtado posted a no trespassing sign, erected fencing, fortified the gable end of the house and placed tarps over removed materials. Laborers were unable to secure a tarp over the roof due to high winds, but they hope to finish work today, according to an affidavit from Mr. Furtado. The house is in the Westport Point Historic District. The town issued a written cease-and-desist order Jan. 3 after most of the roof on the Cape-style home collapsed. Part of the rear is also missing. The family has owned the house since last year, and Mr. Furtado had said he intended to live there. He blamed the collapse on pre-existing, poor conditions — specifically untreated infestation of powderpost beetles, carpenter ants and termites.
G. Chambers Williams III: Nissan's Rogue compact crossover joins the ...
Nissan has yet another hit on its hands with the all-new Rogue. The automaker's first compact crossover, the Rogue competes against the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V, the top two import brands in the small-crossover market. Introduced last fall, it's already one of the top sellers in its segment. Nissan says it positioned the Rogue to appeal to men. I like it just fine, but I'd probably give it to my wife to drive as her primary vehicle — it's not the kind of sport utility I prefer for my jaunts into the wild. My take is that the Rogue is aimed at women, while Nissan's more rugged Xterra, based on the chassis of the Frontier pickup, is the one most men would prefer (although TV ads for the Xterra have featured outdoorsy women driving it).

On July 6, President Yeltsin signed the decree " On Special Features of the Sale of Shares and Privatization of the Russian State Nonferrous and Precious Metal Concern Norilsk Nickel." The state owned 51% of the voting shares in the company.
On November 4, Mikhail Turushev fired KrAZ's commercial director Yury Kolpakov "for abuses during tolling with the French company Trans Commodities." At about the same time, a number of Trans Commodities employees were also fired, including Mikhail and Lev Chornoi. A new company called Trans-CIS-Commodities was organized, which later joined TWG. Turushev retired a few months later, after he was nearly beaten to death in the entrance of his home. He was replaced by Yury Kolpakov.

We've had extreme situations where the network was a business and have contacted that business to let it know what is coming from its network. Most companies have policies against such improper use of company equipment and have been extraordinarily helpful in stopping the abuse.
